Here are some notes and others various updates on the happenings in the DMV area recently. Notes ranging from released local and national rankings, to college offer updates. This piece will look to bring some up to speed about all development on the high school football scene in the area.

First there were a few recent recruits who received offers from college programs:

  • Defensive back William Simpkins III received 2 official offers from University of Maryland and Morgan State University.
  • John’s Class of 2021 Offensive Guard Colin Henrich received an offer from Old Dominion.
  • Defensive Tackle Marcus D. Bradley of received an offer from the University of Nebraska.
  • Gonzaga Defensive Tackle Joshua Williams received an offer from Princeton University.
  • Frances Academy Linebacker Aaron Willis received an offer from Kansas.

Then there were some college visits had by a few players as well:

  • With DB Williams Simpkins III visiting the University of Iowa.
  • Gonzaga QB Caleb Williams also will have an Unofficial visit to Oklahoma University.

Then we also had a player in the area commit to a college. As Carroll wide receiver/Tight End Leron Husbands committed to the University of Maryland. This means the young pass catcher will remain close to home. Further cultivating his game here in the DMV.

 

That is, it for all the happenings in the DMV of recent. With so much talent in this area this showcases just some of the activity and interest prospects in this region are drawing. This should make for a lot of talent to display their skills this coming season and then move onto the next level to shine.
